Neon Dust Rally

Neon Dust Rally is unashamedly arcade. You slide around glowing desert tracks with a handling model that rewards long drifts and holding your line through corners. Tracks are short, usually a couple of minutes, which is perfect for quick phone sessions.

Controls are tilt or on-screen buttons, and both actually work, which is not a given in mobile racers. I settled on the button layout and found the drift trigger responsive and easy to feel. The sense of speed is strong without becoming a blur.

There's no sprawling career mode, just a ladder of tracks and time trials to chase, plus ghost runs of your best laps. It's simple and it knows it. For a pick-up-and-blast racer, it nails the feel.
